What is the light transmittance of optical Shi Ying glass?

The light transmittance of optical Shi Ying glass varies with different types and wavelength ranges:

Visible light range: Generally speaking, the optical Shi Ying glass has a high transmittance in the visible light range, usually above 90%, and some even reach about 92%. If the lens surface is coated with one or more antireflection films of magnesium fluoride, its transmittance can reach 99.2%.

Ultraviolet region: In the ultraviolet spectrum region, the transmittance of optical Shi Ying glass is also excellent, especially the performance of far ultraviolet Shi Ying glass (such as JGS1) is outstanding in this region, and the maximum transmittance can reach over 80%.

Infrared region: In the infrared spectrum, optical Shi Ying glass also has good light transmittance. For example, some infrared Shi Ying glasses (such as JGS3) have high transmittance in a specific infrared band.
